Things I Use Daily

I change my setup more often than I should, but here's what's stuck around.

Editor: VS Code with a minimal setup. I've tried Neovim, Zed, and Cursor — I keep coming back. The ecosystem is hard to beat.

Terminal: Ghostty. Fast, clean, no bloat.

Browser: Arc for work, Chrome for testing.

Design: Figma when I need to, but honestly I design in code most of the time.

Stack: Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, and whatever database fits the problem. Postgres for most things.

Notes: Obsidian for anything I want to remember. Apple Notes for everything else.

Music: Spotify. I can't code without music. Mostly lo-fi or ambient stuff when I need to focus.

The best tool is the one you stop thinking about. If you're constantly tweaking your setup, you're not building.
